I’m Erica Acevedo, and I love dessert! Being raised by my great-grandmother (Nana) taught me a lot of things, one of them being that there is no set time for sweets, as they are meant to be enjoyed whenever the mood strikes. Let me tell you, there are some days that I would love nothing more than to eat cupcakes and ice cream for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Alas, I also love not having a stomach ache.

I digress. My love for food, life, photography, and my family have motivated me to start this food blog, in which I showcase my best desserts, as well as the most delicious meals that both I and my sweet husband, Abe (a.k.a. Mr. Crumby), create. I am German and Polish, and he is 100% Dominican. Our different heritage and palettes have led us on very interesting food adventures, and with each others’ encouragement and constructive criticism, we’ve produced some wonderful things.
